- Some new options during character creation:
- Spirited Learner is a talent that can be chosen only on the 1st experience level and only during ability adjustment. It costs 1 talent point.
- You might not be the smartest but you sure are spirited. You learn new things by hard work and sheer determination. With this talent, Spirit-ability is used for skill and talent point progression instead of Mind. Note that even with this talent, Magic- and Search -skills still retain Mind as their key ability, and all spell talents have a Mind requirement. Mind of at least 6 is needed to be able to read.
- When using the point buy -system for ability scores, you can trade 5 points for 1 talent.
- Spirited Learner is a talent that can be chosen only on the 1st experience level and only during ability adjustment. It costs 1 talent point.
- New talent: Bloodlust.
- When you kill a creature with a melee or a ranged attack, your Stamina gets restored by 10% of your max Stamina, and you gain a temporary 1d4 point boost to your Body-ability for 11-20 rounds. The ability effect does not stack with other temporary ability effects. Half-orcs get this for free.
- New talent: Holy Warrior.
- Spiritual upbringing enables you to channel holiness to attacks against evil-aligned creatures. 1 point of holy-damage is added to melee and ranged attacks. The damage is increased to 1d2 once you reach experience level 12 and your adjusted Spirit-ability is at least 16. Only evil-aligned creatures are affected. Holy damage is doubled against most undead creatures. Stacks with holy damage from weapons and from temporary effects.
- New talent: One with Darkness.
- You have an extraordinary knack to be fully functional in complete darkness. You gain darkvision of 8 tiles, +3 to Stealth-checks when trying to remain unseen in darkness, +5 to perception checks to detect creatures in darkness, +5 to attack rolls against creatures that don't see you (stacks with the normal +10 bonus, also a bonus to score critical hits). When you score a critical hit, you do 25% extra damage (stacks with the base 50% extra from critical hits and extras from other sources). Can only be taken on the 1st experience level.
- New talent: Veil of Darkness.
- When activated, you emit a burst of darkness which extinguishes seen lightsources within 15 tile radius. Environment lightsources (torches, braziers, etc.) and lightsources carried by creatures are affected. Creatures whose lightsources are extinguished won't be able to relight them for a small duration (10-15 rounds).
- Melee Elemental Damage / Ranged Elemental Damage talents: These now scale with experience level.
- Stonesense talent: You'll get +1 to Search-checks when trying to detect secret doors, +2 to Search-checks when trying to detect living statues. Recruitable rogue saints (living statues) are stronger when you have this talent.
- Changes to the companion list on the upper right corner:
- Shows max 20 companions.
- Added keys for commanding companions 10-20 individually.
- Some of the commanding keys have changed!
- INS or F11 toggles the list.
- CTRL + INS or CTRL + F11 toggles the viewing of expendable companions (constructs, animated, summoned, charmed).
- CTRL + number to command companions 1-10, CTRL + F1-F10 to command companions 11-20.
- DEL or NUMPAD_0 to command all companions.
- CTRL + DEL or CTRL + NUMPAD_0 to command all expendable companions (constructs, animated, summoned, charmed).
- You can use mouse wheel up / down to hide / show the list.
- Rogue saints are no longer counted as real recruits, they're grouped with golems as "constructs".
- Companion options:
- On the second page of a companion's character sheet are some options to control more of the companion's behavior. Currently just one: you can set an option that a companion won't animate or summon creatures.
- New item: Orb of Nullifying.
- This orb creates a nullifying field that removes a group of resistances from all creatures on the dungeon level for the duration of the effect. The nullifying affects randomly either physical (blunt, pierce, slash) or elemental (fire / cold / lightning / acid) resistances. Only one nullifying field can be active at a time.
- Some changes and clarifications to critical hits:
- A critical hit does 50% more damage. Affects all damage element types (physical, cold, fire, etc.).
- Improved Melee Criticals and Improved Ranged Criticals talents add an extra 25%.
- One with Darkness talent adds an extra 25% if the defender can not see the attacker.
- If the defender is sleeping, critical hits do 100% extra damage, but this does not stack with above modifiers.
- Some changes and clarifications to stealth:
- If the defender can not see the attacker, the attacker gets a +10 attack bonus. One with Darkness talent adds an extra +5.
- If the defender is sleeping, the attack roll for melee attacks is an automatic 20, ranged attacks get a +10 attack bonus.
- After an attack made from a neighboring tile, an unseen attacker is always marked visible to the defender. For attacks made from distant tiles, a Search vs Stealth skill check is made to determine if an unseen attacker is seen. A spotted creature can move to a new position to try to gain stealth again.
- Added some new mouse commands to the inventory screen: changing between companions, switch between equipment / inventory etc. These can be activated by left / right clicking the inventory list title bars. See tooltips for more info.
- Creatures flash in blue when they heal themselves.
- Good and neutral aligned creatures get 99 holy-resistance, making damage output in the log more consistent to other element types. Previously the holy-element was simply zeroed if the defending creature was not evil.
- Fixed an inconsistency in logged damage calculations that occured when a creature died, so that the damage element calculations make sense. Previously you could see something like "...and kill it! (Blunt: 1 = 4 - res 1)". Now you'll see "(Blunt: 1 = 2 - res 1)"
- Fixed a bug where the autosave wasn't deleted when the game was won. (thanks to Lights for mentioning)
- Keybindings have changed. This release should automatically reset them to the defaults, but if it doesn't, do so from the keybindings menu.
- The command "Toggle low health warning" in the WASD-keys -preset now defaults to CTRL+H. Previous CTRL+W was in conflict with "continuous walk to north".
- Added 44 new Steam achievements for a total of 64. (thanks to ZeroAffex and Lights for ideas!)
- Tutorial and PDF manual updated. PDF manual now has descriptions of all talents.
- Small changes to sound effects.

If you have installed Windows 10 using a USB drive with an autounattend.xml file on it, this may pique your interest.
TLDR: If the EFI partition on the system is too small, Windows 10 devices can not update to Windows 11 through a standard feature update. If you have ever used an autounattend.xml to install Windows from a USB, it's likely the EFI partition is too small.
We all know the (somewhat crazy) requirements to run Windows 11. One lesser know requirement (possibly new) not documented (yet) by Microsoft is the size of the EFI system partition. For those curious, the EFI system partition is what computers use to boot and talk with UEFI BIOS. Pretty important to have. This could be a new requirement as I have updated several devices to Windows 11 before, but now, those same models can no longer update due to this issue.
Recently, my org has been preparing to upgrade all our devices to Windows 11 in the coming months. Utilizing reports available in Intune, thousands of our new devices were ineligible for Windows 11. It would either tell us to replace the system drive or show the error "We couldn’t update system reserved partition". Confused, we reached out to Microsoft for some help. After weeks of troubleshooting and talking with several Microsoft product teams, we have finally uncovered the problem and its original cause.
Let's talk about the problem first. According to Microsoft, the minimum size of the EFI partition should be 100MB, as outlined in THIS article. While there seems to be no standard, manufacturers and the default Windows installation tend to set it around 500MB. It can vary per device. Windows 11 needs at least 15MB of free space in the EFI partition to upgrade to Windows 11. Unfortunately, due to third-party software using that partition more than ever, along with new Widows 11 needs, 100MB isn't enough space anymore. Microsoft has another article HERE about freeing space in the EFI partition. Though, you'd be lucky if those steps free up enough space. After going back and forth with Microsoft Support and performing many tests, their product team finally informed us that an EFI partition sized at 100MB is too small. They recommended 400MB or more. They did confirm with us that their teams will work on updating all the documentation required but who knows how long that will take...
Now for the cause. For many reasons I rather not list here, my org had to install Windows 10 via USB drives on thousands of new laptops a while back. To help speed up the process, we used an autounattend.xml file that just so happened to be provided by a Microsoft employee assisting us. Though, you can easily go online and generate an autounattend.xml file or download a template. The XML file defines many things, including the partitions to be created along with the size. As you can probably guess by now, the EFI partition was set to the minimum of 100MB which was fine until the latest version of Windows 11. So now, every device that the XML file was used on has a small EFI partition and can't upgrade to Windows 11.
After searching for all the templates and online generators I could find, my findings didn't surprise me. Practically all of them had the EFI partition set to 100MB. Anybody who has used an autounattend.xml file to install Windows may have set their EFI partition to 100MB. You could have this problem and not even know if you are holding back on upgrading to Windows 11.
All of this mainly becomes a problem when you start looking for resolutions. The only way to fix this problem without reformatting the drive is to use a paid third-party tool or boot to a USB partition tool. It's not possible to automate a fix via PowerShell or Disk Manager. So, if you use autounattend.xml files in your organization or plan to in the future, ensure the EFI partition is set to 500MB or higher. As for me, well, looks like our plan to deploy Windows 11 might be delayed a while.

We’re grateful to see so many of you enjoying the evolving gameplay, however, we understand the recent update may have presented some challenges and frustrations for some players. We appreciate the constructive feedback and bug reporting and are dedicating resources to releasing a fix for many of the issues, which is planned for June 22nd. A full list of the fixes will be shared after our investigation period and closer to the release. The recent update has invigorated conversation in all channels, and we love to see the passion players display for Hell Let Loose. We value your feedback and want to hear from you, but more importantly, we’ve always admired how thoughtful and constructive this community is compared to others in the space. Game development can be complicated at times, and adding features or updating elements requires careful balancing. We have dedicated departments focusing on different disciplines, working together to build the best experience possible. We are able to work simultaneously across the various aspects of the game, from code and design to animation and marketing, however, balancing new features and changes takes time and precision. It’s understandable that locomotion or animation changes can have a polarizing effect on players, but we ask the community to keep this passion constructive. Focusing our energy on making sure a soldier can’t outrun a tank in 4th gear, or another can’t dolphin-dive across the map giving them an unfair advantage, makes the experience better for everyone (although, we have found the memes to be quite funny). As a studio, we are building new partnerships with history and weapons experts whose knowledge will undoubtedly make this game better and more true to the set and setting. Hell Let Loose is special because of its core gameplay mechanics and we have no intention of changing that or making this look like any other FPS title on the market. Change is inevitable, but not to the point where it affects the core principles of Hell Let Loose - a strategic, communicative, cooperative, and immersive WWII experience. As we travel together on this journey, remember to communicate well with one another. We are all compatriots on the battlefield, and while we might have different preferences, we all share the same love for Hell Let Loose! Known Issues Post U14While it is never our intention to release updates with issues, we’re not going to get this right all the time. With Update 14 being our second update in as many months, we are only just beginning to get into a rhythm with our releases.Thank you to everyone who has reported new bugs - we are now aiming to investigate many of the known issues in order to provide fixes in a patch to be released later this month. Being Investigated: Holding Tab and Movement A bug is currently preventing players from moving when holding tab to view the scoreboard. Looping Breathing Audio While sprinting, some players may hear the breathing audio overlapping itself. British Weaponry Calibration We have received reports of some British weapons feeling incorrectly zeroed. Invisible Barrier on Driel Invisible collision under the bridge on Driel has been reported, which is incorrectly preventing players from shooting, or driving vehicles through the space. Inverted Controls A bug is affecting a number of gunner scopes, causing the vertical movement controls to be inverted. Increased Weapon Sway We’ve seen reports of some British weapons being affected by excessive weapon sway, which is making it difficult for players to track enemies within their sights. Inconsistent Hangar Collision When attempting to place an airhead on any hangar of the El Alamein map, the asset will clip through the roof and will be dropped on the hangar's floor. The issue is not occurring for Bombing Run, Supply Drop, Ammo Drop, Strafing Run, and Precision Strike. Dive to Prone Exploit Players are able to use the dive to prone mechanic in quick succession in order to cover ground faster and avoid conflict. Incorrect Amount of Votes to Kick On Console, the new vote to kick feature is currently requesting 29 votes, rather than 20, in order to successfully kick a player. Other Issues: Panther Misspelled on XP Screen This typo snuck through as ‘Pather’ and will be corrected in the upcoming patch. Weapon Naming We are aware of incorrect weapon naming being used and will be looking into this. Incorrect Map Loading Screen Dates The battle dates present on the loading screens for Driel and El Alamein are switched. The amount of leftists bragging about communism or socialist libertarianism being the greatest ideology doesnt make sense, one of the greatest communist states that ever existed, which is China, is more Auth capitalist than communist. The Soviet Union took every opportunity to get pepsi or some other corporate stuff from the US in to the country. I really cant find a great communist state where everyone prospered, agreed with the government or stuff. All the equality loving socialists had equality as good as a feudal state, "middle" class living in the cities and every else is just tyranny and ignorance of the great great government they mald about saving the people and the workers rights. You ask a socialist: Did the government that had a AuthLeft party in control infring on peoples rights? Was it worth killing about 100 million people in the last century to achieve your great state of socialism/communism or whatever for it to fail anyway? Look at the spanish civil war, the Republican side was extremely disoriented, lacked any support other than the russians who wanted to test out their medieval quality weapons and army, the anarchists who wanted to claim a territory of their own so they joined, and got as many victories as you could expect, which is practically nothing since they failed anyway and destroyed the already failing government even harder. Or the russian civil war? Yeah, great army. They claim it was a brilliant soviet victory, but if the whites had the main city centers and industrial sectors, you would see how that would end. You can call this a "rant" but im genuinly confused about the malding they keep doing when all the historical and real evidence shows that communism aint that great, and greed, a natural human trait, just makes it obsolete. There will always be elites in any country that will control it and live out in great luxury. Look at russia, former communist state, in a war they're losing, weak economy but extremely rich elites and the politicians as corrupt as you expect them to be. To be honest i get some aspects of anarcho capitalism are very radical, but if you look at anarcho communism, thats probably as good as ancap seeing that for communism you need a proletariat leadership, workers that wouldnt mind the harsh conditions that an ancom state would need to achieve just to get a state of their own (most likely by violent means) even if they do lets say get into power by election, what to do than? Its highly individualistic, which i find weird because communism is collectivistic? People are all equal, share and care but if ancom says its "individualistic" than how does it work? There will be no incentive to go share or not start a business, well that wont happen because you will most likely get beaten to death or something. When you have an ancap society, you will get to do anything if you can understand a simple thing as the NAP and not doing dumb shit, you're free to go do whatever, live in a forest and proclaim it as private property, use creativity and knowledge to get in a higher class, the lower class will be people who refused to go up the knowledge ladder and will work to improve the higher peoples lives, because they worked hard and deserve to live well, on the other hand, you cant be sure if your gonna live in comfort in ancom or communism, because what if the states that exist sanction you or dont support you? Now what, you gotta be self sufficient, the soviet union tried that and you know how that ended, but the US greatness is just that, people who worked hard and got up the knowledge ladder got to live good, being served by the people below, but everyone had private property and the rights to defend. In communism your oppresed and you must live under the constant surveillance, same for ancom, the other people can now do whatever they want, theres no government, no oppresion, so you can start doing whatever and go live out but you cant have private property, thats everyones property, you cant stop someone from making a state and saying fuck you to everyone else, because they're free to do whatever, whats stopping them? You live in an anarchist land so that means anyone can do anything and if you try to stop them your an authoritarian and if you group up, that gets bigger, you get a leadership, a defense force, and woah, youve just made a socialist state. The leftists might say "but what about corporations taking over every part of your life" well the NAP exists, you're free to say fuck you to the corporation and the others agreeing to this will see they've infringed on it and they're free to join you, that balances it out, no monopolies or anything, because the individual with the other individuals working towards the same goal, to make their own lives better. Had my BMW in for a general appointment recently (not a service) and part of the vehicle check revealed that the rear break pads are at 3mm and 4mm respectively. The video they sent me from the technician stated that both the pads and the discs would need to be replaced soon.
BMW want £545 for both rear pads and discs replacing. They also quoted £120 for alignment, even though the front alignment is fine and the back is only slightly out as to that video.
Found a really well reviewed (google, trustpilot etc) local garage to me and they charge £35 for alignment, so cant help but feel the brakes probably are cheaper elsewhere too

The initial features ideas that I had were:
- Customisable website pages for members with links to FA Full Time or other league official websites - What volunteers at clubs have to use to do all the admin for running clubs. - Log and track all your players stats (goals / assists / clean sheets) etc (We currently use Teamstats app for this which is really good) - Badge customisation and design (Can also be done on the app) to design your club / groups new logo from 100’s of templates - Kit design – Using the new badge which has been designed, design clubs kits (Would partner with teamwear suppliers and the shirts would be purchased direct with the supplier through the website) means that companies would have an incentive to join and partner. - A notice board for clubs to advertise needing players / volunteers. - A sponsorship hub where local businesses can reach out and offer financial support in the form of sponsorship. - Can register as a club (For your own page etc) or as a player (Personal player profile where you can list all time stats etc) - Registering as a player means you can search clubs in local area who are in need of players. - Partner with local venues (3G pitches etc) and list availability and prices with links for clubs to book and hire for matches and training. - The initial design is based upon grassroots football but can be customised to suit other sports. - Post club highlights, goals etc.
