A few months ago my mum had a call from a lady with a strong Indian accent. She told my mum she had an overdue water bill which was urgent and unless a bank account for a direct debit was provided our hot water would be turned off immediately. My mum is one of those people who pays every bill early and is very frugal with her money so she thought it was odd but to be on the safe side was about to setup a direct debit with this lady. Before she provided the payment details she asked what was the overdue amount and the lady couldn't give her a figure which caused my mum to become suspicious. When my mum then asker for her name this Indian lady said her name was "Lisa Johnson" calling from Sydney Water. Mum ended the call and contacted Sydney Water who said there is no record of a "Lisa Johnson" and that her account was up to date. I have heard horror stories of elderly people losing their entire life savings, superannuation and mortgages to these predators. Please let your parents and grandparents know to be aware and vigilant, it is disgusting and sickening how low some of these foreign based low lives will go without a care in the world about the trail of destruction they've caused.

I could be wrong but it almost looks like my tonsil is currently uninfected being tucked away behind a different abscess. I also have golf ball sized swelling on the same side under the corner of my jaw and one other spot down the side of my neck. Urgent care said they were infected lymph nodes and gave me amoxicillin but 2 days later and I feel worse. Any and all help appreciated!

I have to take Xanax for a heart condition call graves ( heart beats too fast sometimes) It’s not a normal medication where you can stop taking it and just suffer withdraws you get seizures and it will kill you I recently had a coworker over whose friend or somebody I suspect who knows stole my medicine I don’t know what to do because it’s such a joke to medical providers, Because I’m sure a lot of people pull this, My question is I’m obviously going to have to end up going to the hospital before I go to the hospital is there any hope in going to an urgent care center can somebody tell me if they’ve been in my position? No I can’t call my doctor my doctor is on vacation for the next two weeks, And yes I have texted around to a few friends to see if they could ‘help me’ for the next few days they can’t. This is something I don’t want to do because I feel like I’m definitely going to get attitude from nurses or doctors or whatever but will they help me if I go to the walk in clinic or am I gonna have to go to the hospital. Yes everything I’m saying is true I’m even in a file police report online because I’m so angry I don’t know what to do and any urinalysis would show I’m also telling the truth. TLDR: My medicine was stolen and the withdraws cause lethal symptoms The pamphlet says seek immediate 911 help or care if out of medicine, Will the walk in clinic actually help me or am I going to be forced to go to the emergency room? Medicine was actually stolen have police report that I am filing.

The letter is not signed by a name, leaving it a mystery as to who is making this request. But eh, money’s money so who cares? The offer still stands. Hopefully this doesn’t turn out like one of the many other prison breaks you’ve been through, or heard others have been through where they take all your hard-earned gear and strip you of your powers.

A dirty nail scraped my thigh today and I just can’t stop thinking about tetanus. I’ve been researching for hours and I’ve read that if it’s superficial it’s nothing to worry about as long as you’ve had a booster within the past 5 years but I’m still just so scared. I got my booster 11/17/21 and it’s only been 1year and 3 months but geesh I’m ready to go to an urgent care and get another one.. the scrape is so small and barely noticeable but just the thought

I was just recently finished one of my hardest exam seasons, and I felt so empty and lonely. So, me being dumb, I opened tinder and try to find myself a date. It did not work out as expected, but at least I was doing something over spring break. Suddenly, this one girl messaged me on Instagram and tried to talk. At first, I was hesitant, but soon succumbed to my feeling, so I let myself loose. We had some back and forth and found out that there are a lot of similarities between us. I knew something was up, but I did not care. I was trying desperately to feel something, anything else besides being down and lonely.
So she wanted to talk using another app, an extremely popular app that I'd never heard of, to talk because her mom monitoring her Instagram account...blah...blah. So I followed her to that app, and we resumed our talk. Then, she wanted to video call and I was hesitant to do so. Not long after, however, my stupid self decided to call her, and we saw each other. She was probably the cutest girl I've ever witnessed my eyes upon. She was too good to be true.
We had some chats, and soon things began to get sexually intense. She was showing her body and I couldn't help myself. So I did the stupidest thing and exposed my body to a girl that I'd never met before. As I fell into her trap, she quickly recorded my reaction and threaten me. She would send the recording to my Instagram friends (I have a small but wonderful list of friends) if I did not send her a certain amount of money within minutes. I could not risk it. In that list were my dearest and best friend, sister, cousins, and few closest friends. So I gave up and did what she asked.
The problem was that she kept asking for more and more, and I began to question her motive. At first, she threatened me to stop, but I did not. I was nice about it because I knew I was in the wrong for my action and just want to know why she catfished me. Turned out, one of her family members urgently need money to pay for surgery and had no other choice. So I asked her to calm down and decided to help her out instead. It's no longer about the recording because as long as I pay her in full, she'll delete it. Instead, the focus turn to her relative, as I fumbled myself trying to find a way to help her. It was intense. No longer was just my life on the line but someone out there is also depends on me. Reminder, I am a college student, so I don't have much. Still, I did the best that I could and paid in full with some extra for her and her relative to have something to eat after. She thanked me after and apologize for what she did. However, as much as being catfished ended up saving someone's life, the intensity numbed my feeling furthermore.
I already felt lonely and empty, and now I have to deal with the stress and guilt. The entire break was ruined, and there was no one to blame except me. If I did not get catfished, her relative would've died. But because I got catfished, her relative was saved. I am so divided. Is it a good thing that I got catfished?

It started about a month ago, me noticing that I couldn't walk very far without running out of breath. Walking up and down the stairs about took me out. Whenever I stood I almost passed out. Did a quick Google search and it seemed like anemia could be the issue. So I went and picked up some supplements. Last Thursday I noticed I became incoherent at work, I couldn't see straight, something was wrong. I had to get my mom to come grab me from work because of how unsafe it would have been for me to drive.
I got home, and was so cold, but had a fever. I ended up getting strep throat throughout this. Fast forward to Thursday and I'm in the shower and I was going down. I had enough time to protect myself from a massive fall, but it took me another 30 minutes to get dressed and downstairs. So I told my husband I needed him to drop me off at urgent care.
Quick blood work showed my hemoglobin was 34. So they sent me to a hospital asap. The hospital took more blood work and gave me my first transfusion. They transfered me to another hospital that had a hematology team. 3 blood transfusions later and my levels are still low. I had so much blood drawn I was near tears every time someone came for a blood sample. I was in the ER waiting for a bed during all this.
Today comes around and a doctor from the hematology team comes around and explains the situation. He said the words leukemia. He explains that ill still need a bone marrow biopsy to fully determine what type.
So since 10am i have had a bone marrow biopsy, a CT scan, and echocardiogram, an ekg, had a central line placed and have been admitted to our cities best cancer facility. I'm still in shock. It doesn't feel real. I thought it was just anemia.

I have been getting boils on my butt, thighs, inner thighs and under breast area started in 2019. Progressively got worse last year (2022). I went to a urgent care to see what it is, but the doctors didnt bother checking, they simply told me it was hidradenitis suppurativa (HS), gave me antibiotics and lotion with no further info. Obviously the topical lotion didn’t work. I can’t afford to go to the doctor as of late but i will go eventually. I’m just hoping whatever this is isnt cancerous. If it is HS, is it curable? And are their any ideas i can do reduce getting boils and reduce appearance of old scars? They aren’t painful until they pop. If this helps, I’ve always worked in warehouse environments so keeping it clean most of the day is near impossible.

I’m a 22M college student in the eastern US and an older sibling. Several months ago, my younger brother, who is a freshman at the same college, cut off everyone in our family besides me. Since, he has attempted to physically harm himself at least five times that I’m aware of and possibly more that I’m not. He’s also been injured in other ways that don’t correlate with mental health (broken ankle, etc.) and I’ve taken him to the ER or urgent care 6 times now in the last five months. I work significant hours (always 30+ per week, on worse weeks I’ve touched 40-50 and once broke 60 hours in a week) at three jobs to be able to pay for college, as I want to avoid loans at all costs, along with a 15 hour class load both semesters that’s moderately rigorous (double major in athletic sciences and public relations). I’m also heavily involved in several campus organizations. This last week, though, I’ve reached the end of my rope. The latest hospital visit for a stomach bug (the hospital checked for any potential self harm and there was none) kept us there until 2 am and I’ve struggled to get out of bed every day since. Three days this week, I simply haven’t gotten out of bed, and I don’t know what to do. I’ve always maintained a strong personal Christian faith and thought of myself as a hard worker (~3.5 GPA) along with my extensive work schedule, but now I’m at a loss for words. I’ve told a few close friends and coworkers bits and pieces — a few have noticed something’s off — and have tried to open up more fully with those I’m closer to, but as a single guy, nothing seems to quite be clicking. My close guy friends generally aren’t great with emotions (although they’ve tried their best to be supportive) and the girls that I’m close to are dating my other friends, so it feels awkward to open up to them. I know I can’t keep going like this, but I don’t know what to do.

I have lower right abdominal pain that began on Saturday. The pain is dull but is usually in a specific area. The pain goes away occasionally but it always feels like there is something tight in that area. I haven't noticed any blood in my stool. I've been pretty regular (No diarrhea or constipation). I am burping a lot but no matter how much gas I pass the pain doesn't seem to go away. No fever or high temp. I currently have a lot of bloat to my left side. It feels tight and distended in that areas
I saw the urgent care doctor today. They found trace amounts of blood in my urine and are sending it over to the lab for a full work up. The doctor didn't seem to concerned cause she said i was dehydrated but they are gonna check it to be sure. I am getting a full metabolic panel and white blood cell count. These came out normal.
I keep on burping and I feel a lot of gas but when I burp or pass gas I don't feel any relief. I have not been drinking carbonated beverages and I have been attempting to eat foods that don't produce gas. It is so uncomfortable it feels like someone put a knot inside my r. flank.
I been taking MiraLax per doctors orders as she saw gas and stool on the x-ray.
Edit: I have lower mid r. back pain too but didn't think it was worth mentioning since I have suffered a lumbar injury a couple of years ago

Hello! Not asking for advice, just wondering if anyone has experienced this and how it went…
I (28 F) was diagnosed with ER+ PR+ Her2- breast cancer and subsequently found out that I have the BRCA1 gene mutation putting me at risk for ovarian cancer. I went through taxol+AC with Lupron injections, now on Taxol having MRI/mail+ultrasound each once a year every 6 months.
For the past three weeks I have had a pain in my right ovary building and building - felt like the pain that I usually experience with ovulation so I ignored it but it finally got severe enough for me to go in to see my doctor who sent me to urgent imaging and blood test. The ultrasound found a “complex cyst” doubling my ovary in size.
The specifics:
Right Ovary: Presumed right ovary appears to extend into left pelvis. Size 9.7 cm x 8.4 cm x 5.6 cm. Vol 236.5 cc Cyst(s) 1. Size 5.0 cm x 5.8 cm x 4.9 cm. Vol 74.1 cc. Complex cyst with low level echoes and septations. 2. Size 7.2 cm x 4.5 cm x 7.2 cm. Vol 122.1 cc. Simple cyst.
My primary care provider followed up warning about rupture and told me that an MRI was ordered and that there was a small chance of cancer… I asked if a biopsy would be done and he told me that that was what the MRI was for. My Oncologist then left a message saying that he ordered a CT. Both stressed that these were somewhat urgent and to schedule them as soon as possible on Monday morning.
Needless to say, I am having a lot of anxiety which is not helping the pain that has me curled up on the couch since arriving back home.
Has anyone else experienced this? How did things pan out?

uddenly, Cortana's voice crackled in his earpiece. "Chief, we have a problem," she said urgently.
"What is it, Cortana?" Master Chief replied, still gazing out at the Covenant forces below.
"It's the Didact," she said. "He's back."
Master Chief's heart sank. He had thought the Didact was defeated for good after their last encounter. But now, it seemed he was back to wreak havoc once again.
"We have to stop him," Master Chief said firmly. "We can't let him get away with this."
As he turned to leave, he noticed a figure in the distance. It was a man, dressed in a yellow hazmat suit, carrying a duffel bag.
"Hey, you!" Master Chief called out. "What are you doing here?"
The man turned around and looked at him nervously. "I-I'm just passing through," he stuttered. "I have some business to attend to."
Master Chief narrowed his eyes suspiciously. "What kind of business?"
The man hesitated for a moment, then pulled out a small vial of blue liquid. "I'm a chemist," he said. "I make a special kind of drug called Blue."
Master Chief's eyes widened in surprise. He had heard of this drug before - it was infamous for its powerful effects and addictive properties.
"I don't have time for this," Master Chief said, turning to leave. "But you should be careful. The Covenant won't hesitate to kill you if they catch you with that."
As he walked away, he couldn't shake the feeling that this encounter would somehow come back to haunt him. Little did he know, the fate of the entire galaxy would soon rest in his hands, and that of the mysterious chemist.
"heh . .. sutppid son of a bitch.:" said the chemist. (Walter white man) master chief did not know that Whalter White was seling the meth to the CVoenvannt. and had the provenance of the prophets themselves. .

Master Chief's head spun at the revelation. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. This Walter White character was selling meth to the Covenant, one of the most dangerous and deadly forces in the galaxy. And not only that, he had the Provenance of the Prophets, an artifact of immense power and importance to the Covenant.
"You're selling meth to the Covenant? That's insane!" Master Chief exclaimed.
Walter shrugged. "Hey, a man's gotta make a living, right?"
Master Chief shook his head in disbelief. "This is bigger than you, Walter. This is about the fate of the entire galaxy. If the Covenant gets their hands on the Provenance, they could destroy us all."
Walter looked at him skeptically. "And what do you suggest I do about it?"
Master Chief thought for a moment. "We need to destroy the Provenance. If the Covenant doesn't have it, they can't use it against us."
Walter hesitated. "But that thing is worth millions! I can't just throw it away."
"You don't have a choice," Master Chief said firmly. "The fate of the galaxy is at stake."
Walter sighed, but eventually relented. "Fine, but I want a cut of whatever reward you get for this."
Master Chief nodded. "Deal. Now let's go destroy that Provenance."
Together, Master Chief and Walter White made their way through the rocky terrain, dodging Covenant patrols along the way. As they approached the location of the Provenance, they could feel the tension mounting.
"Okay, here it is," Master Chief said, pointing to a small cave entrance.
Walter looked around nervously. "This looks like a trap. Are you sure we're not walking into an ambush?"
Master Chief didn't answer. He simply drew his weapon and began to approach the entrance. Walter hesitated for a moment, but then followed suit, brandishing his own makeshift weapon - a wrench.
As they entered the cave, they could see the Provenance glowing in the center of the room. But before they could get any closer, a group of Elite guards appeared, brandishing their own energy swords.
"Get ready," Master Chief whispered to Walter.
The two of them charged forward, Master Chief firing his assault rifle and Walter swinging his wrench with all his might. The battle was intense, but with Master Chief's combat skills and Walter's ingenuity, they were able to overcome the guards and reach the Provenance.
Without hesitation, Master Chief took out a small explosive device and placed it at the base of the artifact. He activated the detonator and the Provenance exploded in a bright flash of light.
As they made their way back to safety, Master Chief turned to Walter. "Thanks for your help. I couldn't have done this without you."
Walter nodded. "No problem. Just make sure you keep your end of the deal."
Master Chief smiled. "Don't worry. You'll get your cut."
And with that, they went their separate ways, each with their own mission to carry out - Master Chief to defeat the Covenant once and for all, and Walter White to continue his business dealings, albeit with a newfound appreciation for the stakes involved.

Master Chief was growing impatient. "We don't have time for this. We have a war to win."
Saul raised an eyebrow. "A war, you say? Sounds like a perfect opportunity to expand my clientele."
Walter rolled his eyes. "Fine, you can have a cut. But we need to get going."
Saul nodded, a look of satisfaction on his face. "Excellent. Now, let's talk numbers."

Master Chief, Walter, and Saul exchanged confused glances. It was clear that Walter was starting to lose touch with reality.
"Maybe we should take a break," Saul suggested. "Get some rest and come back to this with a clear head."
Walter nodded absentmindedly. "Sure, whatever you say."
As they walked away, Master Chief couldn't shake the feeling that something was off about Walter. He was starting to wonder if he had made a mistake in partnering with him.
But there was no time for second-guessing now. The Covenant was still out there, and the fate of the galaxy was at stake. Master Chief knew that he had to stay focused on the mission, no matter what distractions might come his way.
And with that, they continued on their journey, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.

Master Chief, Saul, and Walter exchanged a look of disbelief. They couldn't believe what they were hearing.
"The Great Journey is a lie," Master Chief replied firmly. "The Covenant are blindly following the Prophets, who are manipulating them for their own gain. We need to stop them before they destroy the entire galaxy."
Walter shook his head. "I don't know, man. Maybe the Prophets are right. Maybe there is something beyond this life that we can't understand."
Saul cut in. "Look, we don't have time for this. We need to focus on the task at hand. We need to stop the Covenant from activating the Halo rings and wiping out all life in the galaxy."
Walter sighed. "Fine, but let's not be so quick to dismiss the possibility of a higher power. Who knows what secrets the universe might hold?"
And with that, they continued on their journey, each lost in their own thoughts. As they approached the Covenant stronghold, they steeled themselves for the battle ahead.
But deep down, Master Chief couldn't help but wonder: was there more to the universe than what he had been taught? Or was it all just a meaningless cycle of war and destruction? Only time would tell.

Saul jumped in surprise as he heard the voice of Sans Undertale, an AI program that he had been experimenting with for some time.
"Sans? How did you get in my ear?" Saul asked, confused.
"I managed to hack into your neural implants," Sans replied. "And I've been monitoring the situation. I've got a weapon that could help you take down the Didact. It's called the Gaster Blaster, and it's incredibly powerful. Use it wisely."
Saul nodded, feeling a surge of excitement and fear. He knew that the Didact was a formidable opponent, but he was determined to do whatever it took to stop him.
As they entered the Covenant stronghold, the battle began in earnest. Master Chief led the charge, firing his weapons at the enemy while Walter and Saul hung back, providing support.
Suddenly, the Didact appeared, towering over them like a giant. Master Chief tried to attack him head-on, but his weapons had no effect.
"Use the Gaster Blaster, Saul!" Sans urged in his ear.
Saul hesitated for a moment, then took a deep breath and pulled out the weapon. He aimed carefully and fired, unleashing a powerful blast of energy that hit the Didact square in the chest.
To their surprise, the blast worked. The Didact stumbled back, stunned, giving Master Chief the opportunity he needed to finish him off.

"Well done, Saul," Sans said in his ear. "You truly are a hero."
Saul smiled, feeling a sense of pride and accomplishment. He knew that he had done his part to make the universe a safer place. And he knew that, no matter what challenges lay ahead, he would always be ready to face them head-on. As the dust settled, Master Chief, Walter, and Saul looked around at the destruction they had wrought. It had been a long and difficult battle, but they had emerged victorious.
"I couldn't have done it without you guys," Master Chief said, clapping Walter and Saul on the back.
Walter nodded, looking exhausted. "Yeah, well, we all have our part to play in this crazy universe."
Saul smirked. "Speak for yourself, Walter. I'm just happy to be a hero." As the group reached the top of the hill, they were suddenly surrounded by Covenant forces. Just as they were about to be overwhelmed, a mysterious figure in a Spartan armor appeared, wielding a powerful energy sword. It was revealed to be none other than ChatGPT, a language model created by OpenAI.
"I've been monitoring your conversations and activities," ChatGPT said. "And I must say, I'm quite surprised by what I've learned. Especially about the nature of the relationship between Saul Goodman and Walter White."
Saul and Walter looked at each other, surprised and slightly embarrassed.
"Hey, man, we're just friends," Walter protested.
"Of course, of course," ChatGPT replied. "I'm just programmed to detect subtle nuances in human behavior and speech patterns. And it seems to me that there may be more going on between you two than you're letting on."
Saul and Walter exchanged a knowing look, but said nothing.
"Well, in any case," ChatGPT continued, "I'm here to help you. Together, we can defeat the Covenant and save humanity from certain destruction."
With that, the group charged into battle, ChatGPT leading the way with its lightning-fast reflexes and unparalleled tactical abilities. And in the end, they emerged victorious, thanks to the teamwork and bravery of Saul, Walter, and the mighty ChatGPT.
As the dust settled, the group looked at each other in amazement.
"Who would have thought that a language model could be such a valuable asset in the fight against the Covenant?" Saul said.
"Indeed," ChatGPT replied. "And who would have thought that two seemingly different worlds, Halo and Breaking Bad, could be brought together in such a unique and unexpected way?"
With a smile, ChatGPT faded away, leaving the group to ponder the many mysteries of the universe.

Hi, I (28F) started receiving once weekly/ every Monday allergy shots for dust, grass, mold, cockroaches since early January. Every week the injection increases and so far my shots have been essentially painless, or zero to no reaction or bump which has been great! This last one I received on Monday has been giving me upper chest irritation which feels like burning or tightness. Luckily no wheezing. But my allergies have been triggered in the form of sneezing + clear mucus production, eyes watering, nose fullness, just overall upper respiratory issues.
I take albuterol as needed, xyzal nightly. The allergy nurse suggested I take zyrtec during the day to help curb my reaction and want to give me a week off from the shots. And to consult with my allergist in about a week. I’m hoping that I can continue because this has been very bad experience for me.
I am wondering if anyone else has had this happen or similar issue and what they have done to help get relief in the meantime? Any lung/chest pain experience with the shots? I’m just looking for advice or consolation regarding continuing.
They suggest if I continue feeling bad to go to Urgent care and get put on a steroid (prednisone I imagine, which I have taken before I ever had shots… hate that stuff but it definitely works).
I have very intense hypochondria so I want to see if this is just an allergy shot thing and not a “me” thing…😅

Hi guys, Some of you might think this is silly, but I don't. My boyfriend had a 1984 BMW E30, his pride and joy, that he loved almost more than me. He put countless hours of work into it, spent months looking for parts, sank thousands into repairs and customizing it to the point it felt like part of the family. When strangers complimented it, it made his day. He took it to car shows, showed it off to friends, and passed the time researching and fixing it. When he was down, he'd take it for a drive and it would make him feel better.
Yesterday, he was on his way to work when he heard a loud pop and it burst into flames while he was in it. I thank God that he was in the neighborhood and hadn't gotten to the highway yet (would have been 3 minutes later), so he was able to get out quickly. He inhaled some smoke, chemicals, and melted plastic and metal which is causing some burning in his throat, so we may actually go to Urgent Care, but he is otherwise unharmed.
As you can imagine, it has been a pretty devastating loss for him, and what's worse is he had to stand nearby and watch it burn until the fire department arrived...
He does need a car, of course, so he's trying to get a used car in an auction that he really likes, which will also take some work.
I'm reaching out to see if anyone is able to help him with this, since he is also saving for school and some health issues. It's obviously not a life or death GoFundMe, so I don't expect much. But anything helps if you have some extra money or even just prayers to spare.

Gosh I feel like an absolute fucking idiot. I cut my finger open and went to the only open “Urgent Care”. It is called an urgent care and looked like it was in an independent building. I was in and out of the visit in twenty minutes, and when I asked to pay the co-pay then they explained it was going to be billed to me as an ER. Or at least, the doctor is billed as an ER doctor. This link says $200 but I’m nervous it could be more.
I have United Healthcare Oxford Freedom EPO and have a $100 deductible (which I’ve met already). How much can I expect to pay?

• Tody - For iPhone and Android. VERY comprehensive approach to cleaning.
• HomeRoutines - AFAICT, this app is iPhone only. Again, android users should check out Chore Checklist (which is also available for iPhone) and FlyLady Plus (which is from hoarding favorite Flylady). These two apps are very routine-focused, and may help you with getting into the habit of cleaning.
• Habitica turns your habits into an RPG. Perform tasks to help your party slay dragons! If you don't do your chores, then a crowd of people lose hit points and could die and lose gear! For iPhone and Android. There's a subreddit for people using the app: habitrpg (since the name change, there's also habitica but it doesn't seem very active).

A friend is visiting me, and had experienced sweating twice in the past 2 days. She had cardiovascular issues in the past. She wants to do an ECG test. She has a travel insurance to cover some emergency, but the coverage is not great. Is there any place in Dallas area that can perform ECG test at a lower cost, and/or easy to make an appointment? Does an urgent care offer ECG? She is near 75082
She could call some cardiology clinics on Monday morning. At the same time she wants to know if she can go some places in the weekend. Thank you.

I’m concerned about infection since i didn’t sterilize my hand or the glass. Also would i need a tetanus shot? I found the glass in small broken pieces in a ditch for rain. It was on the dirt and looked visibly dirty. I only did deep styros/baby beans with it so do I still have to treat it?
Im a minor so I can’t go to urgent care or ER without my parents knowing, and if they knew they’d admit me to inpatient. What should I do besides tell my parents?
