These are the videos I managed to archive.
Total 205 archived - 48 videos not archived (privated before archival).
Around 300 unprivated/un-unlisted videos existed.
Atleast 270 are known to have been archived as of 24 March 2023.

Archive was started around half an hour before things went private/unlisted. Most went unlisted, some went private.
I managed to catch a fair few now private videos, but not all of them.
I also downloaded some private videos not in my PC archive on my phone, just ones that immediately stood out to me as really cool stuff. Nothing sensitive at all.

To be clear, I will still follow LMG channels, hell I'm even a floatplane subscriber, but I cannot continue to browse this subreddit as it only stirs up drama that has to be dealt with on WAN show which takes up time from actual tech news.
Just last week Linus and Luke said they were excited to talk about the upcoming PSVR release and that it looked really cool. There's more twitter drama like the font update and other changes to talk about. There might be an update to the bing saga or AMD update. But no, instead they're going to spend an hour talking about reddit threads from uneducated and ignorant redditors that fill this toxic wasteland and put both of our hosts as well as dan in a bad mood for the rest of the show.
I'm sorry that this alleged employee had a bad experience and I wish them the best in their future endeavors and while it seems that the practice of discussing wages is discouraged at LMG, it is most likely done so that rumors are not spread about people's wages. It is one thing to discuss your own wage to make sure that you and your colleagues are being compensated equally, but a whole other beast to spread rumors about who makes what, that is what truly makes a workplace toxic.
Anyways, i'm just tired of the shit factory this sub has become so i'm leaving. You can find me on linustechtips.com.

I know, this is upsetting a lot of people. It's a terrible move for customers, for many reasons. But we are a powerful force! We can do something about this.
I've started the hashtag #MagentaCashGrab on Twitter. I'm hoping we can gain momentum there and get trending. My tweet, your tweet, not a big deal on their own, but with enough of us tweeting it can show T-Mobile we won't stand for this.
I've also posted the story Jman wrote on Linus Tech Tips tech news forums. I'm hoping if that gains traction it might make it into Friday's TechLinked and/or Friday's WAN show. It's possible! And either would definitely help further show T-Mobile we're upset.
Please consider helping the cause. Share Jman's article, Tweet with the hashtag, comment on the LTT post, and if anyone else has ideas on how we can further get T-Mobile's attention... share them please!

Hello, I am making a contacts list for my online team. Given the info I want to keep on each person, I've decided a Google Sheets doc would be best.
I want to make each person's Discord and Twitter username a clickable link. Discord creates a random hash for each user... so there is no way to make the text a link without doing it manually for each user. However, Twitter URL's are always going to be "https://twitter.com/" + the username without the @ sign.
I am already entering the username in this field, given the fact the link is a static string + the username is there a way I can set up the entire column so when I paste in a username Google Sheets automatically makes that text a link?
Here is what my sheet looks like right now. I've blurred sensitive info.

I asked on LTT Forums and someone suggested a method using ' =HYPERLINK' and 'CONCATENATE' however I would prefer to not use two columns and to be honest, I don't really understand how to do it the way he described.
Does anyone have any suggestions for how I could achieve an auto link? Thank you!

A new species of large predatory dinosaur has been discovered in the Patagonia region of Argentina. Called Meraxes gigas this huge carcharodontosaurid had tiny but extremely strong arms and an enormous head. Scientists have proposed that the large head in species such as this and Tyrannosaurus rex fulfilled some of the functions of arms but nevertheless the strength of the arms suggests they have important roles to play too. One idea is that the arms allow the giant animal to right itself if it overbalanced, or that they are necessary during reproductive behaviour. M. gigas was found in Late Cretaceous rocks, around 90 million years old. As unfortunate as it may be, whether you believe it to be or not, Madison no longer works for Linus Media Group.
There has also been a lot of drama surrounding her departure. We will no longer be allowing any more of this on this subreddit. No matter what her reasoning may be for her posts, or Max's, they will no longer be allowed here.
This is not a subreddit for drama. The problems she may have faced are between her and LMG. Leave it that way. Any more posts about Madison's departure, or her vague Twitter posts, etc will be removed.

It will be the A.I. and info pool and systems that ruin society and humanity, which means we will have ruined ourselves, in large part. There is no strong evidence that robots will take over or any other theory in this regard, though computers could take over, with human controllers. Computers cannot think, but humans can program computers to control you, as slot machines are crafted to control you, even though they are of low-technology. Notice the 'ping' noise on your phone, for example, perfectly crafted to trick your brain into thinking it's of great import and like you have gained something (even when you have not). Like slot machine noises. It's going to be the big companies and A.I./algorithms, if the last 10 years is anything to judge (namely, Facebook, Twitter, the FBI/CIA, Amazon, Netflix, Google, YouTube, the news media, and think tanks, such as Cambridge Analytica and its copies or sister-companies, as it were). All of this, ironically, points towards something like Ready Player One) mixed with Huxley's Nightmare as our future by 2045, compared to something like Orwell's Nightmare or general robotic dystopian stories, or even The Matrix film. As we became flooded with data and info (and 'news'), our culture broke down, and then everything broke down, as we didn't know how to correctly fit ourselves into it. We didn't know how to live. Humans are fast, but we are not machines. We need time. This is why I fundamentally disagree with H.G. Wells when he complained about the British Government always been 30 years behind and 'too slow to update' circa 1910. This 30-year period of process and progress is important. (Having said that, China does control Chinese data and the data of individual citizens and has done since 1948 (a LinusTechTips video showed this, when they set up a Chinese TV in Canada and used a Chinese code, which showed that they have a Netflix-like system owned by the Chinese Government, and that there is an opening message on the screen, stating something along the lines of, 'all data on this device is owned by and will be collected by the Government of the People's Republic of China'), so this is a literal example of Orwell's Nightmare circa 1940 manifesting itself in the world, but not the free, Western world -- for that, you need Huxley. The West, then, can be said to have too much freedom, to the point of total self-bondage via our tech and social systems. You are free to follow the collective herd. Like that's what freedom ever meant.

Back in 2015-2016, the data-gathering think tank Cambridge Analytica got involved in the electoral system of America, and had over 5,000 data-points on over 50 million American voters (which got Facebook into trouble, as well, which you can find online/YouTube circa 2016-2017), which meant they could massively impact your belief system, sense of reality, emotional makeup, and voting patterns (since we know that voting patterns are largely built upon your prior personality and moral makeup, and even your disgust system, which they can fairly hijack over a short-ish period of time. You can learn about this in the documentary on it, The Great Hack). As of 2021, we know that such companies exist and have at least 25,000 data-points in their profiles for anybody they target. Not sure if this is better or worse, but it seems likely to me that soon, even this will be out of human control, such that the A.I. systems themselves will be the ones with more than 25,000 data-points on each user (person), and will control them as required or commanded without much human input at all beyond the startup process. This is alreasdy happening to some degree with Twitter, Facebook, Google, and YouTube. It has a shared eco-system via the current 'cookies' and overall network, largely controlled by Google itself, where it shows you what it thinks you want to see and wants to show you -- rather, it grabs your attention (which is the key and equals money for the companies, TOP (time-on-platform) for the user, and a virtual pat on the head for the A.I.) by giving you the most 'triggering' thing to see, having auto-play for videos, and other new-ish features. This attention-grabing system can sometimes even be clear, as I have seen with some English ads on TV, which I find very worrying and creepy.Or, Facebook just outrights brainwashes you with whatever its current philosophy and plans are. Twitter is like this and clearly run on a negative feedback system if you just study Twitter. This is the case because we know that negative input impacts our motivational system 2.5 times more than positive input(such as hate vs. love or peace vs. danger). This is even taken into account when building board and video games, and is related to the risk aversion system. (For more on this, study the works of Jordan Peterson and Jonathan Haidt, once again.)
This is more and more true for the rest of the world, as well, not just America/the West. These companies, such as Facebook will most likely control much of the entire planet and all its citizens by 2030, as a result (which is what Facebook and others expressly aim for, if you just listen to what Mark has to say). It's unclear how these matters will be resolved, and what the future relationship will be between citizen (user), tech giant, and government, but Ready Player One and/or Island (Huxley) are looking more and more reasonable as an outcome right now unless we see major crackdown on these tech giants by the governments and people. (Of course, I have no idea how the future will unfold, or when this could possibly come to be, but 2045 seems likely if not earlier, looking at our current projection and recent history. I think these companies became far too powerful -- and large -- when they began dictating the status of entire nations and people's core beliefs, and began crafting their own moral and social rulings, outside of American/English Law and custom. Google makes Nintendo look like a mom-and-pop store, for example. This tells me that Nintendo is still merely a company, regardless of its size and your thoughts towards it; whereas, Facebook/Google is something else entirely.)
Therefore, we may conclude that we are already entering The Matrix, as we speak, though it's more 'open' than 'closed', which could be deemed even worse given the state of affairs: there is not a 'perfect' false world and the 'real' world controlled by the alien machines, directly controlling us; rather, there is but one world, where we are willingly controlling our own strings like puppets, with the interfacing technology being the faceless, mindless A.I. systems of the vast social web-structure and the tech giants, of which we also created. I just watched some Linustechtips and thought of it, If one of you apes could get him to DRS his shares, that would be 50k dollars (I don't remember when or how many shares he has sadly^^'') less ammo for HFs'.
Sadly I don't have twitter (and I don't really want to make an account) so if some of you could message him or sth, I think that would be great:)
PS: A few weeks ago I did see in a post here that he hasn't sold them yet soooo.

Since we are a community driven coin, I was thinking, this guy is a huge influencer in the tech community, I am thinking if we can push him to allow Shib to be used to buy his merch which sells out instantly when it is released then it could be beneficial to the coin as it could bring in a lot more buyers, he currently has 13.5 million follows that could come over as buyers.
Thoughts on this? Shall we push him on Twitter to allow $SHIB to be used to buy his merch?
